This sculptural piece is as much a table top accessory as it is a functional piece. Carved by hand in wax and then cast in bronze, it still keeps traces from the process, with a highly textured surface. It can be used as a bud vase (does not hold water), an incense holder, a paperweight or simply a sculpture.

These pieces are part of “an object of thought”, a body of work that explores functional sculptural shapes, some in very small series and some as one-of-a-kind objects. They embrace the raw nature of the material, the unexpected in the production process and a more manual and unrestrained approach to metal work.
